Fostering is one of the most rewarding experiences you will ever have. Being a part of an animal’s rehabilitation and second chance at life is not only fulfilling work, it can sometimes be addicting.

As a foster for The Pawerful Rescue, you don’t spend a penny of your own money. We provide all supplies (crate, bed, food, bowls, toys, treats, leash, collar, name tag, etc.) and also take care of all medical supplies and costs. Dogs are assessed and medically cleared prior to entering your home to keep everyone safe plus, we help with introductions to your resident pets. As a foster, you are a loving home for the animal to decompress in as it awaits its perfect family. You are also a vital part in helping the animal learn structure and sometimes trust. But don’t worry, we will never pair you with an animal that is out of your experience level. We want everyone to be set up for success.

Upon reviewing your application, chatting with you on the phone, and doing a home check we will:
- Place a foster animal that suits your experience level and lifestyle. 

- Review our handbook with step-by-step instructions for this animal.

- Provide you with access to trainers if needed.

- Provide around the clock support if an emergency arises.

Fostering comes with its own set of challenges at times, but it truly is one of the most rewarding experiences you will ever have! Especially with us! You will have a blast!
